Welche Schlafmaske ist die richtige für Sie?

Which sleep mask is right for you?

Sleep masks for sleep apnea

Your mask has a major impact on the effectiveness of your therapy. It should meet your personal needs and not cause leaks or pressure points on your face. Talk to your doctor about your personal habits and needs to find out which model is right for you.

We offer masks from the DreamWear range, which offer a high degree of freedom of movement thanks to their innovative design. They are available in the Philips online shop. You can also purchase these and other Philips sleep therapy masks from your local retailer.

My typical sleeping habits:

1. I breathe through my mouth

Then a mouth-nose mask is probably the right thing for you

The Full Face Mouth and Nose Mask features a minimalist design. It's smaller, lighter, and less intimidating than traditional mouth and nose masks, making it comfortable to wear.

2. I breathe through my nose and value comfort and familiarity

Then a minimal contact nasal mask is probably the right choice for you.

Wisp features a particularly compact design that combines maximum comfort with minimal facial contact. The "nose tip" cushion sits under the bridge of your nose.

3. I breathe through my mouth and like to have a clear view

Then a mouth-nose mask that sits under the nose is probably the right thing for you.

The Amara View face mask, along with the DreamWear Full Face, is the only face mask that doesn't leave red marks on the nose. It sits under the nose and offers patients more freedom thanks to its minimalist design.

When you begin therapy, you should know how your mask and its components work—and when they need to be replaced. We'll illustrate this using our DreamWear masks as an example. These masks are designed to deliver air from your therapy device. Most masks have built-in exhalation valves to allow exhaled air to escape.

1. Headband
The DreamWear headband with its unique non-slip temples keeps your mask in place.

2.Hose

The tubing is crucial for effective therapy. You can use a heated tubing connected to a humidifier to keep the air moist. Check the tubing every night to ensure there are no cracks or other damage.

3.Mask cushion
Our DreamWear masks offer 3 different mask cushion types:
Nasal mask:
the most minimalist design
Full Face Mask:
to breathe through the mouth
Gel cushion mask:
for better sealing

4. Frame

The innovative DreamWear design allows airflow through the mask frame itself.

When should parts be replaced?

Check your products frequently for wear and tear and damage. If you believe they need a replacement, you can contact your retailer or, in the case of our DreamWear masks, purchase them from our online shop.
